11/27/2023 0 Comments Shatter me main characters![]() It fits in perfectly with her character and shows some honest truth that even her, the narrator, wants to hide from herself.Īnd not only is the writing beautiful, but so are the covers! I love everything about these books and I was psyched to see that there are two little novellas slotted into this series, one from Warner’s perspective (omg Warner) and Adam’s perspective. The writing flowed so well and it has the quality of literally reading Juliette’s thoughts, so if she thinks something but decides she didn’t want to really say that (though she meant to) it’s crossed out. The characters are absolutely amazing – each and every one of them, but the writing my god is so moreish! I couldn’t stop reading and I just wanted to start the next chapter and the next and the next and the next. The world is in chaos and the Reestablishment has taken over who, incidentally, want to use Juliette as a weapon. Hype over books can be a good and a bad thing.īut why oh WHY didn’t I pick up Shatter Me sooner?! It’s a brilliant dystopian written from the perspective of Juliette, a person with the power to kill just by her touch which has resulted in her being locked up in an asylum. It’s been on my TBR list for ages but I just never got round to reading it! Plus, whenever something is really hyped up, it sort of puts me off sometimes because I think I might go into the story expecting too much from the book and if it doesn’t deliver, it’s always a bit disappointing. I had such an experience with the Shatter Me trilogy. Fracture Me: A Shatter Me Novella (#2.We all have some book series on our TBRs, a series you’ve heard amazing things about and you keep telling yourself that you need to read it, but of course the time just never comes for some reason and before you know it, it’s months and maybe years later until you finally pick it up. ![]() Destroy Me: A Shatter Me Novella (#1.5).Plans to use her as a weapon.Īfter a lifetime without freedom, she’s finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time-and to find a future with the one boy she thought she’d lost forever. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. He can touch me, is what I’ll never tell him. ![]() The series is paranormal/distopian but the main focus on the love triangle. These books contain some of the most romantic scenes ever. Lindsey: You have to read these books! Warner is my favorite book boyfriend. If you have not they are an absolute must. I read all 5 (3 novels two novellas) in 4 days. Toski: Have you read the Shatter Me Series Maryse ? It’s phenom. To me it’s somewhere between YA & NA, but there is some serious sexual tension and steamy scenes!! Angst is what really pulls me into books, and this one is now one of my favorite series! You will absolutely *swoon* over him in the 2nd book, “Unravel Me”. ![]() Tiffany: Hi, I know you love a Great book and I just finished reading Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafiand it was Heartbreaking and Awesome and I can not wait for the next book !!!! Its a killer book!! Young adult read but its way more than that!!!!! Just give it a Look!!! You will Love it!!!!!!!!!Īli: have you heard of the “Shatter Me” series by Tahereh Mafi? Warner from this series is now my FAVORITE bad boy (the only one to ever trump Kellan)!! He’s bad in a completely different way than Kellan, with power and a bit of ‘evilness’. I know I don’t read that much YA or paranormal these days, but some of ’em are my absolute all-time forever favorites, so I’m ready for this!! Especially considering how it is taking SO many of our fellow readers by storm! UPDATED 07-1-2022!!! This series started a couple of years ago, but, over the last month or so, I’ve been hearing lots of AWESOME buzz! Probably due to it’s latest book release.įrom the blurb of book #1, it seems to have that older YA/paranormal/dystopian feel, but many in our reading-crew are mentioning #1 book boyfriend, and comparing him to our absolute #1’s (just take a look, below).
